To Grandmother's house we go!

Matt has headed to Texas for cousin Kara's wedding, so I headed to Oneida for a visit (and help). 2 kids, 2 dogs... 1 parent! It was crazy getting out of the house. Amazingly enough we only left 1 hour later than I planned! Last night we headed to the chinese buffet with Great Grandma Barbara and Grandma Joan. Then this morning Grandma Joan, the kiddos and me headed to the Armory for their Tot Run - how fun! I wish that they had something like this where we live! A big open space (a gym), bouncy houses, climbing toys, ride on toys, hula hoops, and more! The best part - it's free! And we had the place to ourselves... I will try and come here more often! After the Tot Run we went with Grandma Joan's friend, Bonnie, to lunch.

Then we headed over to City Hall to show off Kinley and Max to Grandma Joan's coworkers. Max even got a personal tour of the fire house. He was shy and a little overwhelmed. He kept repeating 'truck, trucktruck?!' The nice fireman giving him a tour let Max 'drive' one of the fire trucks - it was sooo high - but I don't have a picture because Max wouldn't drive without me ;-) Max also got a little fireman hat and some coloring books! What a fun day!
