DR Thursday

Bright and early start.  We were up at 6am, thanks to Kinley.  We had breakfast at the buffet and against our better judgement we brought a very naughty Max to the beach.  We stayed there for a few hours then headed to the pool for some non-sandy fun. 

Shortly after arriving Max said 'Oww Mommy, Max got a boo-boo" and presented me with his bloody foot.  Sure enough there was a chunk of glass stuck in his heel.  He sat patiently while I pulled it out and Matt grabbed a nearby employee.  We went to the hotel's medical center to get the cut cleaned out.  A woman grabbed some gauze and began working on his foot.  Max asked me : 'Who's that?'  I replied: 'The nurse,' Max looked at her and said: 'No Mommy, that's a nice lady.'  Everyone was so proud of Max and how brave he was.

Shortly after we headed to lunch and bumped into Michelle, Mike, and Baby Logan.  Perfect for an impromtu lunch date!  Then it was time for nap.  The kids and Matt fell asleep in record time so I went off in search of internet access! 

After nap we met Grandpa Al and Grandma Joan as they arrived at the hotel. We gave them a tour, met with some family, then headed back to the rooms to get ready for dinner.  We had dinner at the Dominican restaurant.  Max got a kick out of the fact that it was right on the beach, in the sand.  After dinner we went to the Coco cafe for some yummy desserts.  After the kiddos went to bed, Matt and I headed out.  We ended up in the lobby with a bunch of guests here for Julie's wedding.  We played some Apples to Apples then headed to the disco.  The highlight of the night was definitely watching Uncle Mike dancing.
