Sorry to have been so MIA! The end of last semester got very busy for me with school work, health stuff, mommy stuff, family, holidays... blah, blah... you know how the excuses go. Then it got to the point where I would get a moment here or there to update but felt obligated to give a DETAILED update about everything, everyone, and of course there is never time for that. As I type right now I have no idea when my last post was - but I will guess November? Yikes - that's so bad. I will not even attempt to 'catch up' on posts. Perhaps here and there I will offer 'flashbacks' if something is relevant to my ramblings. Let's just deal with the quick here and now!
Matt: I can hear him upstairs reading to Max. He was suckered into the '1 more book, Daddy?' ploy - despite the Syracuse - U Conn game on. Good Daddy. He also has had to give up his Thursday night basketball league because this is the night that I have class this semester. So 'what is going Daddy's way?' you may ask. Come the end of March he will no longer have to work weekends, which will are all excited about. He will also get out of work at 3pm! We won't discuss what time he needs to be there, though.
Keri: I am working my 2 shifts/week at the hospital. All is well there; I am definitely loving 'being home' with my friends. I am taking my 2nd to last class (gerontology - not my cup of tea!). I have 150 hrs of clinical to complete over the course of the semester - only 126 hrs left! I am still waiting for my IRB proposal to be accepted so I can get started on my thesis - yuck!
Max: Such a chatter box. He is picking up new words and phrases daily and combining more words and making longer sentences at a rapid rate! It is so rewarding and fascinating to see him turning into such a little person. He is so sweet, affectionate, determined, and smart! He is working on identifying by sight numbers, the alphabet, and legendary New York Yankee players. What else would you teach your child?!
Kinley: 2 teeth! It is so weird (and scary!). We were hoping she would wait as long as her little brother (12 months), but no such luck. She is crawling around the house and babbling. She loves mama's milk and is very picky about any other foods, but she is getting better. She has a dimpled smile that will melt your heart and a fiery temper that matches her red hair... or at least that's what color we think it will be if she ever decides to try and grow some!
So that's it. There's your update for now! I will try to get pics up soon. I am also working on finishing up our 2009 family photo montage video. Once that is complete, I will post it here!
**Yikes! The last post was October! Bad Blogging, Keri! Bad!**
