10 months!

Monthly update: Here's to a healthy Kinley! Our poor little princess has had a few rough months, but hopefully this is all behind her. She is such a happy little girl and it was so hard to watch her through everything, but I am so thankful she is so easy going or else the last few months would have been that much worse for us! She is starting to pack on the pounds now that she's recovered from her last illness. She's in 12 month clothes, and we are starting to look at 18 month clothes - no!!! Kinley is in size 4 Pampers Cruisers. At night time we put her in big brother's size 5 Huggies Supremes.

Her favorite toys are:
* Max's cars - Along with anything else that Max is playing with. If it's cool enough for big brother, it's cool enough for little sister!
* Max - They are so interactive nowadays, it makes me so excited for the days when they will really be able to play together - Although I realize that will also bring increased rivalry! There are times now where the two of them will just laugh hysterically at each other. I have no clue why?! Then there are times where Kinley will follow Max around trying to steal his toys. He gets frustrated, tries to push her away (too roughly at times) and will yell "No, no, no, no, no! That's mine's!" Of course Kinley finds this game of tag so much fun and she will follow Max repeating "No, no, no, no, no!"

Her routine: This past month, and the one before that, and the one before that... have been so busy and unorganized, but Kinley does do her best to stick to a routine. She normally wakes up around 5am, nurses, then goes back to sleep (hopefully). Her day usually kicks off around 7-8am. She takes her reflux medicine, plays, then it's time to eat breakfast and nurse. At 9ish she takes her first nap. She sleeps for about 2-3 hours. Then she wakes up for lunch and nursing. Big brother Max then goes down for his nap and Kinley gets a little alone time for playing before nap #2. She will sleep for another 1-2 hours. Evening time is for play time with Max, Mommy, and Daddy. More nursing, time for dinner. We struggle to keep her up until 7pm, but sometimes we can keep her up until 8pm. Then it's light's out for the night!

Developmentally:
* Talkie-talkie - She consistently says 'Mama, Dada, and No, no" It is becoming more and more clear that she knows what these words mean and that she is trying to use them purposefully.
* Social, happy, little girl - she loves laughing, loves smiling, loves talking. She may play shy when she first sees someone new, but give her a few seconds to warm up and she flashes her dimples!
* Crawl-master Kinley - she scoots around like it's nobody's business. She will pull up to her knees.
* Foods: She dabbles a little with table foods. We give her a little of whatever we are eating (within reason). We are still trying to figure out what she likes... other than breast milk! The sippy cup is something else that we are also trying to push... unsuccessfully thus far.

that is too funny about Max and Kinley's interactions with toys bc Bella & Noah are the same way and Bella says "No no no no, my toys" as well (even when she is playing with Noah's toys, lol)

She's a great napper too! WTG, Kinley!!
