Max had a fun birthday - we spent the morning down by the canal feeding ducks. For dinner, we headed to Friendly's for ice cream! Max loved his monster sundae!
Max, or shall I call him stretch, is 39 inches long. On the other end of the growth curve is his weight... a whopping 31 lbs. No surprise there! He is wearing 3T and 4T clothes. He wears 4T/5T socks and size 9-10 shoes. No more diapers for this big boy! We took them away the beginning of June and haven't looked back. He was very good with 'pees' from the beginning, but had a couple 'poop' bumps along the way. Max wears a pull up at naptime and bedtime, but wakes up from naps dry. In the morning, however, he wakes up with a water balloon!
Max favorite toys and ways to play:
* Cars, trucks, tractors, trains, airplanes, and more cars... such a boy!
* Sandbox
* His new Power Wheels. And being the good big brother he is, he is very protective of the passenger seat - that's Kinley's seat!
* Coloring - with Color Wonder and crayons
* Books. So proud to say he is still a book worm!
* TV shows: Fireman Sam, Dora the Explorer, Go, Diego, Go!, Phinneas and Ferb
* Movies: Finding Nemo, Incredibles, Shrek
* Max is still a chatter box, which is increasingly fun, since now you can actually carry on a conversation. And he's so animated when he talks - it's such a riot!
His Routine: Max goes to bed around 8 pm and wakes up at 6:30 in the morning. He takes a nap from 1 to 3ish.
Developmentally:
* As mentioned previously, Max is quite the little conversationalist! What a difference from last year! It is very fun to hear him verbalizing what is going on his head.
* Max's counting skills are getting better, however he doesn't always get it correctly. He can count (at times) one to ten!
