Today the fire department came to visit Max's school. Unfortunately it was raining out so the firemen did not bring their fire trucks (the station is a quick walk from the school) so no fire truck fun during this visit. One of the firemen is quite the magician and he did a great job of entertaining the kids while teaching them fire safety. The most exciting part, of course, was when Max got his fireman hat!
During this busy, busy time I really just wanted a chance to feel not so busy and do something fun with the kiddos. Making some halloween cookies out of refrigerated dough seemed like the perfect, yummy solution! Max was very much into this activity, Kinley was very much into the eating...
After cookies and milk it was time for some reading!
