Monthly update: Kinley is still doing well! She is such a pleasant little princess. Much more laid back than another little baby we once knew! It is a very nice change of pace for us, but I have concerns for the future that she will not get everything she wants as she lacks the assertiveness that Max clearly possesses! Currently we are packing up Kinley's newborn clothes and she is wearing her 0-3 and 3 months clothing. She is so tall that she can wear some 3-6, 6 month clothes, definitely the pants! She is wearing Size 1 Pamper's Swaddlers.
Her favorite toys are:
* Her swing - still loving the swing! Nap times are always longer in the swing!
* Rainforest bouncy seat - She has now figured out how to activate the lights and motions so she has a grand ole' time playing in the bouncy
* Tummy time floor mirror - (or any mirror as far as that goes) What can I say? She's a pretty girl and she knows it. She likes what she sees when she looks in the mirror!
* Big Brother Max - she's so in love with him and loves when he stops bouncing off the walls to share a quiet moment with her.
Her routine:
A routine is something we are still striving for. Currently we are still nursing on demand, going with the flow! During the day she nurses every 1.5-2 hours. At night she goes down around 8-9 pm and wakes up around 2-3 am. Then she sleeps until 6-7 am, and is then up for the day!
Developmentally:
* She's fixin' to be a chatterbox like her big brother! You can sit and have a 5-10 minute conversation. She loves to coo! It's so exciting to see her get excited!
* Kinley's still super smiley... such a happy girl!
* Tracking - this is still a fun game for her, she loves to check things out in her surroundings!
