DR Friday

We should have taken Grandpa Al and Grandma Joan up on their offer to take Max for the night.  Kinley woke everyone up this morning around 6am.  Max definitely would have slept longer if it wasn't for that pesky little sister!  Matt and Grandma played with the kiddos while I cleaned up the room a bit.  We are told that we have a 'larger' sized room, but with an extra bed and a crib there doesn't seem to be much room to us!  It doesn't help that there seems to be a complete lack of storage here!  Anyways, after this we headed to the breakfast buffet which worked out much nicer with two extra sets of hands for helping! 

Then Grandma and Grandpa went off on their own and we went to see the hotel 'zoo.'  They have a bunch of birds, including flamingos.  Of course Max was intrigued and this was the perfect opportunity to lather the kids in sunscreen. 

Then we headed to the kiddie pool. 

Both kids were riding in inner tubes, so we decided to bring them into the big pool.  Kinley LOVED it.  Max took a little bit longer to warm up, but once he did, he was hooked!

Then they came around the pool with some parrots.  Of course Matt and Max were intrigued.  I snapped some 'illegal' pics - oopps!

Then we headed back to for some room service lunch.  After lunch it was quite a struggle, but both kids finally passed out.  While the kiddos slept, I headed to the Gazebo for the wedding rehearsal.

We went for a walk around, then headed to the rehearsal dinner.  We hoped that bedtime would be early, but it took us until 9 to get Kinley to sleep and after 10 for Max.  Not the best of nights!  We hope they sleep long and hard!
