New Years Eve

Matt and I both had to work until 6. We tried to get out of work a little early. Picked up Max and headed over to the Smiths' for a little celebration. Unfortunately Connor was already sleeping by the time we got there, so no playtime for the boys. Max did enjoy having free reign of Connor's toys though! We stayed until 9:30 when Max and I were too tired to celebrate any longer. Stopped at Taco Bell for a little snack, then headed home. By the time Max got into bed it was 10:45! I tried my best to stay up, but only half accomplished it by dozing on and off in bed. Matt watched the ball drop from downstairs on the couch. It was quite the uneventful New Years Eve! But I suppose that what I get for volunteering to pick up a shift at the hospital on New Years Day at 7am - at Matt's urging, I'd like to add!
