Sign Time

Max is picking up sign language so quickly! With the help of his babysitter and the Walworth Library, he's learning words so quickly! He's really just been using sign language over the past month and already his vocabulary is growing! He knows 'please,' 'more,' 'hat,' 'eat,' and 'all done.' Now his technique probably would be frowned upon by ASL officials, but he can get his point across. It's hard to tell who's more excited - us or Max - life is definitely easier when he can tell us what he wants - or doesn't! These should be videos, rather than pics, but I was too lazy! This is Max during his morning snack time.

Rubbing his chest = please!

Touching his finger tips together = more! Our problem now? Saying no! When he asks 'please' for something he can't have... oh he's too cute... and polite! Oh well... at least he'll be spoiled with manners?

Max's sign vocabulary is very impressive! Annika signs "again", "more" (just touching her index fingers, though), and "milk". We're working on "please"!
