Happy Birthday?

Today was a little bit of a random day for us. Daddy got some alone time while Mommy, Grandma Joan, and Max went to Babies R Us to set up a little registry for our little girl! So different, and so much easier than registering for Max! Afterwards we headed to Olive Garden for some lunch time refueling. When the waitress (who was obviously charmed!) asked how old Max was I paused, then responded '17 months today!' We were very shocked and a little embarassed when, at the end of the meal, Max got a chocolate tort, with vanilla cream and strawberries (yum!). The staff came out with the dessert topped with a candle, clapping and singing. Max enjoyed the dessert (as did his Mommy and Grandma!), but was very upset we wouldn't let him eat the candle! How's that for a 17 month celebration?! Another realization we had today? Our little girl is due in 4 short months... yikes!
